The Mediterranean Sea Bass, sharing the 33% of the total annual production. The size – range of the products covers all the market demands, including sizes from 300 gr up 1.000 gr, weights, which are gained in 16 – 18 months.

For Sea Bass’ nutrition are used special fish feeds, with specifications set by Pegasus SeaFoods S.A., characterized by medium fat addition for better product’s quality. The fish feeds’ composition includes raw materials of sea origin like fishmeal, fish oil adjusted to the biological growth stage of the fish (Size, growth stage, age, e.t.c).


Sea Bass’ Traits
The body is slab – sided, hydro dynamic with silver color, with darker colors on the back. The body’s length can be equal up to 1 m. It lives in small depths and swims near to the shore, through wracks, pebbles and sand, chasing smaller fishes, shrimps and squids. Belongs to the Family: Maronidae, its scientific classification by Linaeus (1758) is Dicentrachus Labrax.
